This is a video of our local favourite beergarden. It is great, with a water slide for the kids and lots more. Also the food is GREAT, anyway, this was taken last Sunday and we intend to go this weekend too!
Just a quick post with Sam's birthday. Here is a video of his party with his friends from Kindergarten.......
and an egg and spoon race..........
Well, here is a quick post to just tell you about our holiday in Riva del Garda, Italy. My parents flew over to Munich and then the next day we all drove down in the Zafira to Italy. We had to buy a roof box to fit all the luggage in as with the rear seats up we don't have any! Well, it was a pretty good drive down and it only took about four and a half hours.
Riva is a lovely place and we seemed to be lucky on the weather as it was pretty poor in Munich at the time!
Here are some shots of Riva itself....
Here is Sam doing what he likes best!!
While we were there, Sam had his first go at swimming, he really seemed to enjoy it.......
So, what has happened these last few weeks? Well, we spent a night on Tegernsee at Jason's wedding, he really did it!! She also said yes!! We left Sam and Calista with Elke's parents....... Sam was brilliant as usual, but Calista woke at 2am and screamed for Elke. Franz had to read her books, colour in and finally in a desperate bid to get her to sleep, went for a long walk!
The following weekend we then flew to England, always a big stress with two kids, but Calista is especially fun at the moment as she wants to run EVERYWHERE and if you don't let her you get screaming! I doubt we will be flying for at least a year and then hopefully she is as easy as Sam.
Whilst in England we left the kids at my mum's so Elke and I could spend a night alone in Chester. It was nice but Calista put in a similar performance for my mum, I doubt she will want to repeat that experience for a while, well when Calista is older I doubt she will do that again....
We also saw my brother's new daughter and very cute she is too........ looks must come from Angie.......
We also met up with Lauren, James and Holly, it has been more than TWO years since we say them with the kids. They had never seen Calista.
We also did all our shopping for the next two years! It helps that the pound is so low, very cheap.
Oh yeah, on the way back we had to call on
Dickhead here left the bloody house and car keys at home, thankfully Mum and Ron do not live too far away and the traffic was ok as they managed to get them to us.......... FAB.
It looks like our daughter enjoys to dance, just check out her slick moves to a bit of Latin music...... she is a bit of a mover, better than me anyway....... ;-)
So, just a few weeks ago was Fasching here, which occurs on the English Shrove Tuesday. Usually there are lots of parties and Germans trying to be funny......... only here would you have very organised funniness..
Anyway, the kids both wore fancy dress, with Calista as Peppa Pig or Peppa Wutz in Germany and Sam was dressed as Wall-E. Check out the photos.........
.... as you can see, Sam liked his!!!`

It is very nice, lots of lovely photos........ read more
